Samreen Khan is a Patent Associate. She has been with the firm since 2013.
As a registered Patent Agent, she specializes in handling prosecution matters with a keen focus on various aspects. Her involvement includes counselling on patent filing strategies, prosecution, expert advising on patent legal documents, supervising assignments, managing examination reports, conducting thorough studies of prior art searches, drafting claims and meticulously preparing responses to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Additionally, she adeptly navigates and manages matters with deadlines, showcasing her commitment to precision and efficiency in the field of patent law.
Before joining Bharucha she was associated with International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi as a Research Officer and Senior Industrial Analyst and has worked for many bioassays relating to anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-parasitic, phytotoxic, cytotoxic and insecticidal activities, bacterial Culture maintenance, screening of plant extracts for biological Bioassay Screening Section, tissue Culture Laboratory Assays and isolation of Macrophages.
She is expert in the Microbiological analysis of water, milk, food. Determination of Animal toxicity assay. Working experience in sample collections, and reports Analysis, ELISA, PCR, Isolation of Macrophages and Biological samples preservation, Flow-cytometry, cryopreservation of microbes and parasites.
