Mr. Qamar Uddin has been associated with Bharucha & Co. since 1989, bringing a wealth of experience to the firm. Holding a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Laws, he began his legal career as a personal secretary to the District and Session Judge before transitioning into private practice. He is an enrolled advocate of the High Court and a member of the Sindh High Court Bar Association and Karachi District Bar Association.

Specializing in complex Intellectual Property (IP) matters, Mr. Qamar has represented international clients before IP offices, tribunals, and courts. His expertise encompasses trademark prosecution, counseling, enforcement, licensing, and litigation, with a notable focus on obtaining injunctions against counterfeiters and infringers. He has successfully handled numerous cases, including trademark opposition matters from pre-filing stages through to hearings before the High Court.

Beyond IP law, Mr. Qamar advises clients on property and commercial matters and handles related litigation. He has also attended international conferences, seminars, and workshops in various countries, enhancing his global perspective on IP issues. Additionally, he has served as a member of the Trade Marks and Copyright Committees of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), contributing to the development of IP law in the region.
