Abdul Aziz Bharucha
Abdul Aziz holds degrees of Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Laws.
He is with the firm since 1964. He is an advocate, also a member of Karachi
District Bar Association and a member of APAA. He deals in Patent related
matter.
Asma Noor Ahmed Bharuchi
Asma Noor Ahmed Bharuchi holds degree of Bachelor of Sciences in Microbiology from DJ Science
College. She is a Patents Agent as well as a Registered Trade Marks Agent.
Abdul Rehman Usman Deshmukh
Abdul Rehman Usman Deshmukh was working in the Pakistan Trade Marks Registry and
he joined the firm in the year 1952 as a Registered Trade Marks Agent. During
his long tenure he has been dealing with all kinds of cases for trade marks in
the firm. Since his retirement he has become a Counsel of the firm. He is also a
member of APAA.
Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh
Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh holds degree of Bachelor of Sciences (Honors) in Agriculture from Sindh
University, Hyderabad and Bachelor of Law from Karachi University. He has been
an examiner of Trade Marks from 1976 to 1989.He was promoted and posted as
Assistant Controller in the Department of Controller Insurance, Government of
Pakistan. In 1990 he was transferred to Export Promotion Bureau, Government of
Pakistan as an Assistant Director and then in the year 1994 he was again
transferred to the Pakistan Trade Marks Registry, as an Assistant Registrar of
trademarks which he continued till 1996. He was promoted as Deputy Director, to
Export Promotion Bureau, from where he took an early retirement in 1998 and
joined the firm immediately thereafter. He is an enrolled advocate of the High
Court and the member of Karachi District Bar Association.
Dr. Mohammad Mansoor Ali
Dr. Mohammad Mansoor Ali holds degree of doctorate in Environmental Health from Open International
University, Sri Lanka. He has undergone training in the field of Quality
Management at Fulmer Research Institute, England under UNIDO fellowship and is a
qualified Lead Auditor for ISO 9000 Quality Management System. He has served
several government research institutions and units of state owned corporations
of Pakistan as Senior Scientific Officer/ Manager/ Senior Manager in the fields
of Research Management, Quality training in the field of Quality Management for
over 30 years. He is member of APAA and deals in Patents matters.
Qamar Uddin
Qamar Uddin holds degree of Master of Arts in Economics and degree of Bachelor
of Law from University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan. He joined the firm in the
year 1989 and is an enrolled advocate of High
Court. He deals
with the corporate, commercial, civil, trade mark, patent and copyright matters, and
prosecuting the cases in courts. He is member of Karachi District
Bar Association, High Court Bar Association and Pakistan Industrial and
Intellectual Property Rights Association (PIPRA). He is also member of
international associations namely Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) and
Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA).
Farzana Rustom
Farzana Rustom holds degree of Bachelor of Commerce from Government Commerce and Economics
College, Karachi and Bachelor of Law from S.M. Government Law College, Karachi.
She is an advocate of High Court and also a member of Karachi District Bar
Association. She has been a part of the firm since August 2001and working as
Trademark and Copyright agent. She is involved in dealing with the matters
related to foreign filings, Search Reports, Attending Courts.
Saira Osman Bhatty
Saira Osman Bhatty holds degree of Bachelor of Arts from St. Joseph College, Karachi and
Bachelor of Law from SM Government Law College. She is a member of Karachi
District Bar Association. She is associated with the dealings related to
Trademark Oppositions, Counter Statement, related queries, General queries and PRS matter. She has been working in the firm since 2009.

Joseph Anthony D’Souza He is Bachelor of Arts from University of Karachi and Bachelor of Law
from Islamia Law College, Karachi. He is a member of Karachi District Bar

Zeeshan Nazeer
Zeeshan Nazeer is a Bachelor of Commerce from St Patrick’s College, Karachi and Bachelor of

Ayesha Hassan obtained her LLB degree from the University of London and is currently
working as an associate at Bharucha & Co. She has been practicing as an IP
lawyer for more than two years, specifically in aspects related to trademark
matters. She deals with searches and correspondence with national and
international clients. She also assists senior attorneys in specific projects.
Hameeda Asif
Hameeda Asif did her M.Sc in Biochemistry and is presently studying law at S.M.
Government Law College, Karachi. She joined Bharucha & Co. in April 2005. She is
primarily involved in dealing with matters relating to patents and industrial
design, and in particulars, she looks after searches, examinations and
opposition matters. She has extensive experience in advising national and
international clients in both legal and technical matters, especially relating
to pharmaceutical, chemical and biotechnological sectors.
Anila Gulzar
Anila Gulzar holds a degree of Bachelor of Science from Urdu Science University. She has
been working in the firm since 1998. She is a member of PIPRA and AAPA. She
